Since 1974, the Savonnerie shop Martin de Candre has been located in the heart of the Domaine de Mestré, once the main farm of theRoyal Abbey of Fontevraud (12th century). In our boutique, you'll be seduced by the variety of perfumes and toiletries presented in period furniture. A veritable olfactory curiosity cabinet where you'll find everything you need to perfume your cupboards, take care of your skin or perfume yourself with fresh, natural scents..
The limited space of our workshop does not allow us to offer tours of the manufacturing laboratory. To find out more about the history of our family soap factory and the different stages in our soap-making and perfuming expertise, we can provide you with a free 20-minute explanatory film in our museum, "Quand le Savon fait sa Pub".
