Natural alum stone is renowned for its astringent, antiseptic and anti-perspirant properties. As part of your shaving routine, this mineral offers excellent benefits for preparing the skin and soothing it after the passage of your razor blades.
As a pre-shave, it prevents skin problems such as redness, irritation and ingrown hairs by depositing a thin protective film on the skin.
As a post-shave treatment, it soothes razor burn, stops micro-bleeding and helps minor cuts to heal.
NB: after shaving, the immediate application of your alum stone may cause a slight tingling sensation.
